VIC, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, considers herself a lyricist who resides at the intersection of hip hop and poetry. By fusing the styles together, she hopes to provide a unique spoken word experience that inspires creativity and activism, while also promoting self awareness and individuality. She credits her friends and supporters from Alabama State University and Montgomery for encouraging her art and giving her a platform to speak out loud.
